The amazing Pelion… which we visited about one month ago!
We started our trip from Athens on Saturday morning and it took us almost 4 hours to reach Tsagkarada. The reason of our trip was the need for ralaxation so we chose 12 Months Luxury Resort, a 5 star resort for our accomodation in Pelion which combines the famous traditional Pelion architecture with luxury, and the intense element of nature.
Its location is such that it offers excellent views of the Aegean Sea. Built on the green slopes of Pelion, it is only a few meters away from the well-known thousand-year-old plane tree at Agia Paraskevi square. There are three more wards in Tsagarada, that of the Taxiarches, Agios Stefanos and Agia Kyriaki.
Before heading to the Deluxe Suite of 12 Months Luxury Resort, which we had chosen for our stay, we enjoyed a cold coffee at the pool area so as to relax and experience the amazing location.
We head to our room, that definitely exceeded our expectations! We had with us the youngest member of our family (our daughter 20 months old), so there were much more needs. The Deluxe Suite however was just what we needed! We had anything necessary to enjoy 2 relaxing days and feel as we were home!
The view from our suite was excellent, combining the beautiful surroundings of the hotel with the blue of the Aegean Sea.
What really enchants the visitor is the exterior of the hotel …
We continued our day with a visit to the nearby beach of Agios Ioannis, ideal for families with young children.
On Sunday, the weather changed and it was rainy almost all day. So, we had the chance to meet the autumn version of Pelion, as temperature dropped noticeably.
As a result, we spent more hours at 12 Months Luxury resort and enjoyed its great facilities.
We tasted the delicious breakfast at the Melia restaurant and then visited the hotel’s specially designed children’s area, which was especially appreciated by the youngest member of the family.
When the rain stopped we headed for a short walk in Tsagkarada.
Before returning to the hotel, we visited the enchanting beach of Mylopotamos …
By the time we returned to our hotel, the rain had stopped and we were able to enjoy the hotel’s magical exteriors.
